Installing this HPOP gauge is a breeze by simply connecting the gauges sensor wires to the factory Injector Control Pressure Sensor (ICP Sensor) for extremely accurate gauge readings directly from the source.

HPOP is important for a Power Stroke diesel engine because its what drives the injectors to supply fuel to the engine. The HPOP receives oil from the low pressure oil pump in order to drive the injectors, and the computer will then tell the injectors exactly when to fire. The pressures can be anywhere within the range of 500 to 3,000 PSI. Having a weak or defective HPOP could starve the injectors for fuel and could lead into other fuel system failures. An upgraded HPOP may be required if fuel injectors or the fuel system is upgraded, which is to ensure that there is sufficient fuel feeding the engine.

This GlowShift White 7 Color HPOP Gauge features a white face with an illuminated red needle that sweeps 270 degrees, as well as 7 Color LED through dial lighting. Our 7 Color though dial lighting system allows you to easily select from 7 different solid color modes along with 2 color cycle modes that let you match your factory dash lights or add a custom style to your trucks interior. With the included color recall feature, you dont have to worry about setting the gauge to your preferred color every time you power your truck on. Connecting your gauge to the headlight switch source allows the gauge to dim 30% for easier monitoring when driving your truck during the late hours of the night.
